How did you get into photography?
the day i moved for the first time from France to a surf trip in Ireland. I’ve taked a small DSLR for some memories, and from these days i’ve never stop.
What means photography to you?
Free, escape, great meetings, memories and a different way to watch the life
What kind of photographer are you?
I would say simple, sedate and curious to learn everytime
Digital or film?
Both. I’m this guy who start with a digit camera, it’s perfect for learning quickly tips here and there. 5 years ago, my stepfather gave me his “old” Nikon FE2 with a 35 & 105mm lens + 1 Kodak Tri-X. It was a revelation, real photography, composition, light, reflection… Since, i’m total in love with analog photography.
Color or black and white?
on film: 35mm black & white, 120mm colors. In digit, both, it depend the subject.
Small or big prints?
Big prints are sexy
Portrait or horizontally?
before portrait really often, these days horizontally

4 differents cameras
Your typical shooting gear?
Canon 5D mark III with the 17-40mm, 50mm 1.4 and 70-200mm f2.8. For my personnal work: Nikon FE2 with the 35mm f2.8 & the 105mm f2,5 + Kodak Tri-X. Yashica 124mat G + Kodak portra 400 and a point and shoot Olympus super Zoom 70.
What do you think makes a memorable photo?
Honestly? The chance in a certain way… : good place, good light, good people/subject and the good moment.
Whose work has influenced you most?
The list can be long… it depend periods : Alex Webb, Trent Parke, Raymond Depardon, Jon Frank, Cole Barash, Todd Glaser, Dustin Humphrey… and many more !
What drives your creativity?
a good photo book (ex:The Suffering of Light-Alex Webb, DIY from Matt Georges…), a black coffee and good shoes
Your biggest dream?
live photography.. like everyone i suppose…
